About VAIPL Climate Connectors One of the simplest and most effective ways you can advance climate action in your faith community is to become a climate connector! VAIPL climate connectors act as liasons between a congregation and VAIPL. This may manifest in any number of ways, including:
-
- Organizing a presentation, film screening, or educational event sponsored and/or led by VAIPL
- Sharing upcoming VAIPL opportunities in your congregation’s newsletter and/or social media
- Distributing VAIPL resources in your congregation, such as our creation care calendars and information on direct pay for solar
- Inviting your congregational leader to participate in Climate in the Pulpits, on the Bimah, and in the Minbar
- Organize members of your congregation to attend Day for All People
- Begin a Green Team to begin planning ways to green your congregation
- and more!
