Upcoming Events for GA 2022

VAIPL GA Weekly Update Call (Register Now!)

This year, in addition to our weekly Environmental Justice Now! broadcast, where we update viewers with the week’s GA news; you can connect your faith community with VAIPL in an interactive and informative call on Sunday evenings at 5:00 p.m.

These meetings will continue through January 23. 2022 through Sunday, March 13, 2022. On our weekly call, you and your faith community may have all of your GA 2022 questions answered, learn how legislation is moving through committees, and what you all can do to help Virginians create environmental justice through your advocacy. Register here.

Conservation Lobby Day (Register Now!)

Every year, Virginia Conservation Network’s 150+ environmental organizations come together to ensure a strong conservation voice is heard during the legislative session. Join us on Tuesday, February 1, virtually or in-person, to lobby your representatives for strong conservation policies. Register here.

VAIPL LTE Writing Party (Register Now!)

Join VAIPL on Thursday, February 3rd, 2022 from 6-7PM for a writing party, where we will collaboratively create a letter to the editor. Come and learn about how to advocate during the General Assembly, and engage with others, as we go step by step through the process of writing a letter to the editor. Register here.

VAIPL Power-Fast for Justice (Register Now!)

Join VAIPL and stand in solidarity with the many Virginians experiencing utility disconnections this winter. Participating in the Power-Fast for Justice means that you would abstain in a way of your choosing on Sunday, January 30, between 1 PM and 5 PM. You could unplug small appliances, turn off lights, or even turn off the heat. Sign up now to participate and highlight this moral failing of our state that could leave millions in the dark and cold! Register here.
