Kaycie Lassiter
Kaycie graduated from Virginia Tech with a Master’s in Natural Resources and Global Sustainability and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and French. She is committed to lifelong learning through both formal education and everyday experiences. Kaycie holds multiple certifications in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA), sustainable landscaping, climate communication, and environmental stewardship.
Understanding that policy is essential for implementing change, she utilizes her advocacy and education skills to engage the public in grassroots efforts, empowering bottom-up leadership. Kaycie believes everyone deserves to have their voices heard, and she works to help others recognize their potential to inspire collective action.
She has served as a student board leader and volunteer in the non-profit sector, successfully fundraising, mobilizing volunteers, and organizing events. Kaycie enjoys connecting with people, exploring new places, and trying new experiences.
