Public presentation “Faith and Social Contract”

Faith and Social Contract

America’s founders adopted a social contract that assumes people are self-interested and can make the natural world private property. In contrast, the world’s religions teach altruism and stewardship of God’s creation. What might a social contract founded on faith values look like? How would this affect our relationship with the natural world?

Virginia Interfaith Power & Light and the Sierra Club invite you to a free public presentation. The speaker will be Archie Abaire, from Virginia Interfaith Power & Light.

When: Thursday, October 23 at 6:00 – 8:00 pm
