Faith Climate Action Week 2023 (April 14 – 23)
Faith Climate Action Week is ten days in April during Earth Month when IPL congregations focus on how we can all take action to protect our climate. The 2022 theme The theme of 2023’s Faith Climate Action Week is “Living the Golden Rule: Just Transition to a Clean Energy Economy.” We’ll examine our responsibility to transition to energy sources that safeguard our common home and how our faiths call us to respond with just solutions for all.
Share the exciting news of the transition to clean energy with your congregation with a series of short films called Current Revolution that show the possibility of a just transition to a clean energy economy where the well-being of workers and frontline community members are prioritized.
There is also an opportunity to encourage Toyota to join other car makers in supporting clean cars using the enclosed postcards, in addition to an online advocacy petition starting in March.
