Black History Month

Happy Black history month! This is a time of remembrance, affirmation and action, and we at VAIPL wish to offer our blessings to people all over the world who celebrate with us. Let us take the time to honor the deep history and culture of our brothers and sisters, who continue to make history. As a black women led climate and environmental justice organization, VAIPL will continue to advocate for equitable transportation, just energy policy, and clean water for all.

Black History Events

  • Environmental Film Festival – Feb. 27
  • Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference – Feb 25
  • “A Bigger Picture” Book Discussion – Mar. 3
