Rev. Dele led the “Redeeming Soil and Souls”  climate change seminar held at Peoples Congregational UCC on October 18, 2014. Representatives from the 39 UCC congregations in the Potomac Association worshipped together, were educated in climate science, responded to the climate response panel; and participated in exhibit table talks.

Rev. Sarah Anders (L) encourages panelists Rev. Hank Fairman, Rev. Kenneth King and Jim Conklin & Rev. Dele to add contemplation to restoring urban forests, improving air quality, switching to alternative energy sources and food sovereignty as constructive ways congregations can respond to climate change.
