Archie Abaire, VA IPL Steering Committee member, presented a talk titled “Faith and Social Contract” at the University of Richmond Downtown Campus on October 23. The presentation focused on how prevalent social and economic values in American society differ from the spiritual values that the world’s religions teach. Our society’s reliance on values originating in the European Enlightenment contribute to the many environmental problems that the world faces.
